I hope everyone is having a great morning! You guys are so lucky...I'm at work, while you guys have the opportunity to sleep in and do whatever you want this morning. Anyway, take advantage of today and get out there and do something fun--see you guys tomorrow.

We're also having a party on Friday. Please think of what you want to bring in like chocolate, chips, fruit/vegetable platter, water (no pop) cups, plates, popsicles, and so forth.

I liked how you all worked in Language this morning. From my perspective, I saw students, engaged as they expressed thoughts from their mind. I also witnessed students collaborating effectively with one another--well done, indeed!

I will attempt to mark the math tests promptly. You will receive it on Tuesday, if not earlier. Other than that have an exceptional evening and get outside and breath fresh, glorious summer air into your lungs. September 22nd marks the onset of fall. I only hope this spectacular weather continues.

Remember Math test tomorrow--when all tests have been marked, they go home to be signed by mom and dad. We always keep parents in the loop so they can keep track of your progression.

I came in with a splitting headache. The only thing I wanted to do was relax. However, I had a few errands to do and then by the time I knew it my headache had subsided and it was/is 8:45p.m. WOW--where did the day go?

Anyway if you're reading this that means it's really late or it's the next day--regardless, have a great night. Homework: read, read and read. Math Test on Wednesday--don't worry it won't be difficult, challenging I suppose; however I've checked all of your work and you are all on track--keep it up--I love your hard work!

Great day today. You worked hard this week and you should be proud of yourself. Grade 6 is a year where you slowly become more independent. And most of you are working towards that.

Remember math 1 to 3 is due Monday morning: final.

Have a wonderful weekend and do something fun. The weather is supposed to be absolutely perfect this weekend so get out there and enjoy yourself.  See you Monday.

Homework

Although I don't inundate you with homework, I expect you to read at least 30 minutes a day. Read a novel, articles online, anything really. We probably will have a party next week. I want a themed party. So really think about it. Other than that have a wonderful evening and don't forget to pay it forward. By the way, it's beautiful outside: go for a walk, shoot some hoops, just savor days like today they are far and few between.
